Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026. This policy covers The Canopy Kingdom app for Android and iOS and this website, operated by XLR8 Technologies (“we”).

What we collect

  • A random player ID. On first launch the app creates an anonymous guest account. We never ask for your name, email, phone number or contacts.
  • Game progress. Levels reached, stars, coins and gems, cosmetic items you own, Feather Pass progress, and finished-level statistics (moves, time taken). This lets us back up your progress and show the leaderboard.
  • Purchase records. When you buy something, Google Play (or Apple) sends us an order ID and purchase token so we can deliver the item. We never see your card or payment details.
  • Leaderboard name. A generated name such as “Bird #2683” is shown publicly with your level and stars.

Advertising

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device’s advertising ID, IP address and approximate location to show and measure ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Buying “Remove ads” stops interstitial and banner ads.

App analytics, crash reports and notifications

We use Google Firebase to keep the game stable and improve it. Firebase Crashlytics sends crash reports (device model, OS version, app state at the crash). Firebase Analytics records how the game is played, such as levels started and finished, boosters used and screens viewed, together with your random player ID and an app-instance ID. Firebase Performance Monitoring measures app start-up and network timings. Firebase Cloud Messaging gives your device a notification token so we can send news and rewards; you can turn notifications off at any time in your phone’s settings. How we use it

Only to run the game: saving progress, delivering purchases, the leaderboard, preventing abuse, and improving levels. We do not sell your data.

Storage and retention

Data is stored on our servers in the European Union. We keep it while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of a deletion request.

Children

The Canopy Kingdom is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
